HELLCATS: picked up for a full season

Yay. More Aaron on our television screens. HELLCATS has been picked up for a full season.

Breaking: The CW orders full seasons of ‘One Tree Hill,’ ‘Nikita,’ and ‘Hellcats’
By: Michael Ausiello
Date: October 22nd, 2010

The pickup baton has been passed to The CW: The network has given full-season orders to rookie dramas Nikita and Hellcats, as well as venerable soap One Tree Hill.

Season to date, Hellcats has averaged 2.5 million viewers, a dramatic improvement over last season’s insta-flop A Beautiful Life. Nikita, meanwhile, stands as The CW’s second most-watched show with 3.6 million viewers – although a large chunk of that audience falls outside the net’s core 18-34 demo (hence the mini-revamp under way).

Conspicuously missing from The CW’s pickup list: Life Unexpected. The sophomore drama did, however, receive an additional script order. In other words, there’s still hope.

CW pick ups: ‘Hellcats,’ ‘Nikita,’ ‘One Tree’
By: James Hibberd
Date: October 22nd, 2010

The CW is giving full-season orders to freshman dramas Hellcats and Nikita, along with veteran One Tree Hill.

Hellcats has been paired with America’s Next Top Model on Wednesday nights, averaging 2.5 million viewers. Nikita has been matched with Vampire Diaries on Thursdays pulling 3.6 million viewers. Both have been more or less steady in recent weeks.

Absent from the list: Life Unexpected, which has been struggling paired with the eighth season of One Tree Hill on Tuesday nights. CW has picked up a couple scripts for the show, however.

“This fall, The CW made several strategic scheduling moves, including adding two of the most buzzed-about new series, ‘Hellcats’ and ‘Nikita,’ to our line-up, and we’re thrilled that they’ve paid off for us,” said CW entertainment president Dawn Ostroff. “By giving our two freshman series and proven performer ‘One Tree Hill’ full orders, we’ll be able to continue our success and momentum throughout the rest of the season.”

HELLCATS – 1×06: Ragged Old Flag (October 13, 2010)

Below is a video clip of Aaron’s scene from his 3rd episode of HELLCATS (1×06: Ragged Old Flag).

HELLCATS: 1×05: The Prisoner’s Song (airing tonight)

Just a reminder that HELLCATS airs tonight (Wed Oct 6th, 2010) in the USA and CANADA (9/8C). I know it’s really frustrating not knowing which episode Aaron is going to be in but the casting sides for episode 5 have his character in it, so hopefully he’ll be in tonight’s episode. As always, could someone please watch for Aaron’s name in the opening credits and leave a comment to let us know if he was in the episode or not. Thanks :)

The trailer for tonight’s episode….

Episode Synopsis: Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) talks the team into letting Dan (Matt Barr) direct their bid video against Alice’s (Heather Hemmens) wishes, but when things don’t go as planned, Savannah may have to forfeit her role as captain. Meanwhile, Marti (Aly Michalka) decides to investigate further into Julian’s (Gale Harold) case, and Red (Jeff Hephner) tells Derrick (D.B. Woodside) he plans to win Vanessa (Sharon Leal) back, which prompts a fight between the two men. Robbie Jones also stars. John Behring directed the episode written by Curtis Kheel.

HELLCATS: 1×04: Nobody Loves Me But My Mother (airing tonight)

Just a reminder that HELLCATS airs tonight (Wed Sept 29th, 2010) in the USA and CANADA (9/8C). Again, I have no idea if Aaron is in the episode or not. But after two weeks without him, fingers crossed he gets some screen time tonight. I know that Hellcats is “not my cup of tea” for some people, but could someone please at least watch the opening credits (looking for Aaron’s name) and leave a comment to let us know if he was in the episode or not.

The trailer for tonight’s episode….

Episode Synopsis: Lewis (Robbie Jones) asks Marti (Aly Michalka) out but she turns him down. Alice (Heather Hemmens) tells Lewis (Robbie Jones) she will stop taking drugs if he helps her get back in shape as a flier, but then after a sweaty workout the two end up having sex. Meanwhile, Savannah (Ashley Tisdale) takes Dan (Matt Barr) to her parents’ house for dinner and a fight erupts after Savannah’s mom (guest star Teryl Rothery) demands that she stop seeing Dan. Wanda (Gail O’Grady) convinces Marti to give Lewis a chance so she tells him she’s ready to date but he has second thoughts. David Paymer directed the episode written by Anne Kenney.
