I don’t know how long they’re going to be doing this for but the Movieset – Blood A Butcher’s Tale website are doing a live video stream of them filming right now. Aaron was sitting down in a chair in the top right hand corner of the screen. Now he’s up and walking around. It’s 9:30 am (Tuesday) here in Australia. So that makes it 4:30pm (Monday) Vancouver & California time, 7:30pm (Monday) New York time and 12:30am (Tuesday) UK time.
Edit (10:40pm Vancouver time): Aaron wrote a message to all of us and held it up to the camera :)

DragonCon 2007 – Aaron wants your help
Aaron has not been invited to DragonCon. He wants to attend and he wants your help.
Direct quote from Aaron …. “Tell fans to tell DragonCon we want Aaron Douglas there. They are passing on me being there”. When I told him that I just assumed that he would be at DragonCon and that they just hadn’t added his name to the guest list yet, he said “DragonCon passed on me”.
I have no idea why or what is going on. But if you are going to DragonCon and want to see Aaron there, please get in contact with DragonCon and let them know. UPDATE (August 14th, 2007): A friend (who knows I have limited internet access while I’m away) texted me to say that Katee Sackhoff cancelled DragonCon. I just spoke to Aaron and jokingly commented that with Katee cancelling they should invite him now. He said that Katee and Jamie have both cancelled and that the DragonCon people have called his agent and said that they have listened to Aaron’s fans and they really want him to be at DragonCon and they’re going to do whatever it takes to get him there last minute. Aaron asked me to pass on a huge thank you to everyone that contacted DragonCon and asked that he be invited. It’s not official yet that he is going because his agent is still in negotiations with DragonCon but it’s looking really good. I’ve asked him to let me know once it’s official so I can let you guys know (or keep checking the DragonCon website to see if his name has been added).
UPDATE (August 15th, 2007): Just heard from Aaron that he is officially going to DragonCon!!!!!! Thank you to everyone for their help in getting him there.
UPDATE (August 16th, 2007): Aaron said that the guy responsible for getting him to DragonCon is Pat Henry. I just went and looked him up on the DragonCon website and found his email address and I thought it would be really great if we all emailed Pat to thank him. His email address is phenry @ mylink .net (remove the spaces).
Edit: Sorry. Probably should have mentioned that Pat is the Chairman (and also the Treasurer) at DragonCon.

I just received an email from a fan who spoke to Aaron at a Brad Paisley gig at Bakersfield last night. BLOOD: A BUTCHER’S TALE (MovieSet website)
Today I received an email from Bryson Yuzyk who works for MovieSet.com. MovieSet.com is a website that promotes films that are in production. They are currently promoting BLOOD: A BUTCHER’S TALE. The website has movie teasers, set stills, key art and … the most exciting thing of all …. THE FULL MOVIE SCRIPT !!!!!! I just finished reading it and OMG, I love it. Obviously huge spoiler warning because it is the full script. I kind of regret reading it now because I’m going to know how it ends when I go to see it. But if you’re a scaredy cat like me when it comes to gory / horror movies, you’ll be glad you read it because you’ll know the parts where you need to close your eyes … about 90% of the movie. LOL.

As he investigates further, he realizes that his destiny is to become the destroyer of this blood thirsty race. Sam begins a killing spree with the slaughter of his beloved fiance, then her blood addicted lover. Sam then makes it his duty to systematically destroy the remainder of the clan, until he hesitates on killing Lily, the last of her race. Helplessly he falls in love with Lily and learns to respect her desires as normal. Eventually Sam must decide if he is willing to repopulate the planet with the exact race he set out to destroy.

Dear Chiller Theatre Fans, Guests, Vendors and Friends.
Chiller Theatre thanks you for your years of loyalty and patronage.For the Past 15 Years, we at Chiller Theatre have prided ourselves in having put forth the very best in Horror and Sci-Fi Film Convention Entertainment. Originally, Chiller Theatre had planned to hold what would have been our fourth consecutive January Winter Weekend Horror Convention, during the last weekend of January, 2007, at the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands Hotel.
However, irreconcilable differences have arisen between Chiller Theatre and the Crowne Plaza Hotel. In light of those differences, regrettably:
There will be no Chiller Theatre Show this coming January of 2007.
While we do not wish to subject our public to all of the gory details, succinctly put, in order for Chiller Theatre to have hosted a Show this coming January of 2007, it would have been necessary for Chiller Theatre to at least double the price of show tickets, and, to dramatically increase the price of vendors’ tables in order to satisfy all of the financial demands, and other obligations, that the Crowne Plaza Hotel sought to impose upon Chiller Theatre, as a condition of agreeing to host the show this coming January of 2007.It would be unthinkable for Chiller Theatre to pass these added costs on to our fans, friends, vendors and guests. We would rather let the Crowne Plaza cancel the show, (which it has), than to submit to their demands.
But fear not.
Any and all tickets that were purchased for the January 2007 Chiller Theatre Show will be honored at the upcoming April 2007 Chiller Theatre Show. Details on the April Chiller Theatre Show will be provided in the near future.
Finally, we sincerely urge anyone that has made room reservations with the Crowne Plaza Hotel for the now defunct January Chiller Theatre Show, to immediately call the Crowne Plaza at (201) 348-6900 in order to cancel those reservations as soon as possible, so that they do not get charged. When you do call, be sure to get the name of the person that you spoke to, as well as any cancellation confirmation number.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: QMX BSG Dog Tags (For Sale – Soon)
I found a set of 7 BSG Dog Tags for sale on ebay for USD $104.95. The Dog Tags are for Admiral Adama, Apollo, Starbuck, Tigh, Helo and Tyrol. They’ve blurred out the photo of one of the people because they say it’s a “season 3 spoiler”. But it looks like it’s Sharon. The item description for the ebay listing says “The items are in preorder status right now. The dog tags are scheduled to ship to us by late December/early January”. The link for the ebay listing is http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230058517273 but because the auction has ended the link might not be up for too much longer. But I saved the photo advertisement which you can view below. On the advertisement it says that the individual Dog Tags will be USD $14.99.

Item description: This is the “Wolf: Battlestar Atlantia” DVD, filmed January 27-29 2006 in Bad Salzdetfurth, Germany. Includes Q&A sessions with Nicki Clyne, Erin Chambers, Aaron Douglas and Rainbow Sun Francks as well as footage from the meet&greet, the workshops, the autograph and photo sessions and more! The DVD runs for almost 2 hours, the Q&A sessions etc are in English. This is a Region 0 DVD (region free). The DVD costs 15 Euro plus P&P (3 Euro Germany, 5 Euro Europe, 9 Euro World Airmail).
