The BSG Marathon starts TONIGHT (Sun April 19) at midnight ET (Sun night / Mon morning) on SYFY and ends on Thursday April 23 at 9:30am. Attached is a list of when the episodes will air according to the schedule on the SyFy website. The marathon will be hosted by Tricia Helfer and there will be a “number of surprise guest appearances” airing throughout the marathon.
I don’t know if they’re going to give everyone a heads up on when the individual interviews with the cast will air or if you’re just supposed to watch and be surprised. I assume it’s the latter because the whole point of the marathon is to encourage people to stay home and watch. The schedule has a new episode airing every hour (on average an episode runs for 44mins) so maybe they’ll break the interviews up into snippets and insert them in during the episodes along with some commercials (???). I honestly have no idea how it’s going to work. I would hope that they’re only airing the interviews on the SyFy channel in prime time because they can’t expect people to watch for 3 and half days straight so that they don’t miss out on an interview airing at 2am. Or maybe they’ll re-air the same interviews a few times (????).
If you can, I suggest that you DVR the marathon and then you can fast forward through the episodes looking for the interviews. And hopefully at some point in the future they will make those videos available to watch on the SyFy website or YouTube channel. And if you do watch it live, please let me know what ends up happening with the interviews. I live in Australia and can’t watch it.
