THE MENTOR: 10 Years Ago Today

The Lifetime movie THE MENTOR premiered 10 years ago today (June 14, 2014).
I remember watching this movie when it first aired and I was so weirded out by Aaron in this scene that I pretty much threw my laptop off of me and put it on the opposite side of the room, to get him away from me 🤣🤣🤣 The toothbrush in the mouth part STILL freaks me the frak out.

SYNOPSIS: Elizabeth May (Jes Macallan) tries to put the loss of her eight-year-old daughter behind her by going back to teaching. Under the stress of the tragedy her husband Brian May (Nic Bishop) has moved out while Elizabeth is desperate to save her marriage and return to a life of normalcy. In her new job she is assigned a mentor, Paul Allenham (Aaron Douglas), who is hiding a deep dark violent past. Paul has an immediate and unsettling attraction to Elizabeth; he will do anything to secure her love.

FLASHPOINT: Aired 10 Years ago today

10 years ago (November 15, 2011) Aaron Douglas guest starred on an episode of FLASHPOINT (4×14: Day Game). I was SO EXCITED when he got this gig because it was one of my favourite tv shows. And he did not disappoint. This was such a great/memorable episode. If you’re a fan of Aaron’s this is a great episode to watch as he is in it pretty much the whole episode. My only complaint was that he didn’t have any scenes with Hugh Dillon. But he made up for that when he played a prison guard alongside Hugh in S3 of THE KILLING.

What a great experience. Enrico is a great man/great actor. I thought it was really cool being up on the score board. Between takes I was singing quietly to myself when @realhughdillon, way down below listening on his headphones, yelled up to me “are you singing Beach Baby?!” 🤣

EUREKA: Aired 10 Years ago today

10 years ago (August 29, 2011) Aaron guest starred on an episode of EUREKA (4×18: This One Time at Space Camp…). Aaron in this episode is a LOT more funnier than I remember it being. “Press the Button”, the Homer Simpson scream, “OH THE HUMANITY!!!!” 🤣

This is so great. I remember getting an email from one of the producers asking me to come play on the show. It was wonderful to work with these young people. Such energy and you got to see a different side of “Chief”. Ha!

KILLER MOUNTAIN: Aired 10 Years ago today

10 years ago (Aug 27, 2011) Chief (Aaron Douglas) & Billy (Paul Campbell) starred in the gods awful cheesy (and that’s why we love them) SyFy movie KILLER MOUNTAIN. Aaron says “frak” during the movie, you can hear it in the trailer 🤣

This was such a fun movie to do. Other than hanging 100 above the ground hanging by a wire smaller than a shoelace, which freaked me the FRAK out! Great cast. Tons of laughs and I’ll never not work with @ThePaulCampbell The man is a gem!
