CONVENTION APPEARANCE: New York Comic Con 2009 (Update)

The NYCC website still have Aaron (incorrectly) listed as doing autographs and photos on the following days and times …

– Fan Expo Canada Booth Signings: Fri. 1pm to 4pm and Sat. Noon to 5pm
– Fan Expo Canada Free Celebrity Photo Session: Saturday only at 5pm

I have confirmed with Aaron on the correct days and times he will be signing and below is his schedule ….

Signing: Fri. 12noon – 1pm (Table 1 with Yuri Lowenthal)
Signing: Fri. 2pm – 4pm (Fan Expo Canada Booth)
Guest Panel: Fri. 6pm – 7pm (Emissary Guest Panel in room 1A08)
Signing: Sat. 12 noon – 4pm (Fan Expo Canada Booth)

Aaron said that the Fan Expo Canada Booth is “at the back. All the way down isle 2500”

There will be no photo session but you’ll be able to take a photo with Aaron at his table for a donation to his cancer charity.

UPDATE: According to the official NYCC blog, there is Pre-Con Party on Thursday night (5:30pm-7:30pm) at Dave & Buster’s in Times Square, which Aaron will be attending.

EMISSARY: Friday, February 6, 2009 @ 6:00pm – 7:00pm (Room 1A08)
Emissary is a new web series from Dekker Dreyer and Phil Morris with artistic direction from Neal Adams. Filming officially begins in Fall 2009 for distribution to iTunes and other IPTV outlets. The series follows forensic archaeologist Campbell Essex and the path in which he learns his true destiny as “The Emissary” — the latest in a long line of selective breeding by conflicting ancient cults. As he uncovers clues to his own identity he’s confronted by a dark conspiracy that spans millennia. Emissary stars Martian Phil Morris (Smallville), Brian Thompson (X-Files), J. LaRose (Saw 3), Yuri Lowenthal (Gurren Lagann), and Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica). All will be appearing on the Emissary panel.

Ask for your FREE photo ticket at the Fan Expo Canada Booth after 10am Saturday, Feb. 7th and return with your own camera (and photo ticket) to the Fan Expo booth at the assigned times.

UPDATE: I just showed Aaron the above dates & times of the signing and photo sessions and he says that it is wrong. His con agent is still working out the details with the organisers. I’ll let everyone know what the correct dates/times are once he lets me know.
