15 years ago today, the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA episode 1×01: 33 aired on January 14, 2005 on the Sci Fi Channel in the USA. #BSG15Years.
Here is a different version of the above scene. I have no idea where this script came from, it’s been on an old external hard drive for years. But I want to believe that Aaron ad-libbed that last line and that’s what ended up in the episode.

HA! Yeah…. I am pretty sure that was an ad-lib. And a pretty good one if I do say so myself.
EDIT: Just to clarify … The BSG miniseries aired 16 years ago (December 8, 2003). The first episode of Season 1 premiered in the USA 15 years ago (January 14, 2005). But this episode aired in the UK on October 18, 2004. In fact, all of the Season 1 episodes aired in the UK before the USA.
