Today GLOBAL TV (Canadian Network) announced the tv shows airing for the 2024/25 broadcast season. Aaron’s new tv show MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN will air on Wednesday nights at 10pm in Canada. As previously announced, the show is airing in the US on FOX on Tuesday nights at 9pm.

We don’t have an exact date as yet but it will be sometime in the fall. But as soon as we hear anything I will let everyone know.

Here is our first look at Aaron as Sergeant Sid Sokolowski in the new FOX television series MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN. Aaron is one of the main cast members, so this means a lot more of Aaron back on our tv screens. MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN is a psychological crime drama that stars Rossif Sutherland as Karl Alberg and Kristin Kreuk as Cassandra Mitchell.

Pictured with Aaron is Rossif Sutherland (yep, half-brother to Kiefer and son of Donald). Aaron and Rossif became besties during filming, so we gave their characters a ‘ship (relationship) name’. Please meet Alberski 😀 (ALBERg + sokolowSKI).

Today was the FOX upfront. That’s where the network executives present upcoming fall tv series to advertisers, members of the press, etc. From the Upfronts we learned that MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN will be airing on FOX on Tuesday night at 9pm. I will let you know once we have an air date. The show will also be airing in Canada (GlobalTV), UK (ITV) and I assume other international countries, but we don’t have any news on when. But as soon as we hear anything I will let you all know.

Aaron is playing SGT. SID SOKOLOWSKI. “SERGEANT SID SOKOLOWSKI — Foremost amongst the detachment’s traditionalists is Karl Alberg’s second-in-command. A decent man, devoted father of five. Alberg rekindles the dormant fire of a man who has lost his spark”.

The show is based on the Karl Alberg book series by late Canadian author L.R. Wright. There will be 9 episodes in season 1. They are almost halfway through filming right now. Filming should be completed by mid May. I *think* the plan is for the episodes to start airing in the fall but I’ll let you know once that’s been confirmed. The show will air on FOX in the US. I believe in Canada it will air on GlobalTV and ITV has acquired international rights. Again, once everything is actually confirmed I’ll let you know.

There should be a big announcement coming tomorrow. Aaron has been told it’s happening tomorrow morning. I’m in Australia so ‘tomorrow morning’ will be some ungodly hour for me and I’ll be asleep. So you all might hear about it before I get the chance to announce it on here.

It’s not Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel or BSG related but it is BIG NEWS and I know you’ll all be very excited and happy for Aaron 😀
