After a wait of over a year the music video of YOUNG BEAUTIFUL IN A HURRY‘s cover of the Queen song DON’T STOP ME NOW has finally been released.
The video was directed by Bear McCreary and features a cameo by Aaron.

According to a tweet from the band, the music video of YOUNG BEAUTIFUL IN A HURRY‘s cover of the Queen song DON’T STOP ME NOW will be released online tomorrow.

Young Beautiful in a Hurry will be premiering their music video “Don’t Stop Me Now” at Molly Malone’s on Saturday, May 11. Drawing from the glory days of glam, and the classic games that inspired a generation, Young Beautiful in a Hurry rocks the house. This video celebrates 16-bit retro graphics and 80s cinema in an adrenaline-pumping rendition of the famous Queen standard.

This exciting video launch will feature sneak peeks, live performance of original and provocative tunes from the band’s forthcoming EP, Royalty. “Don’t Stop Me Now” features appearances by James Rolfe (“The Angry Video Game Nerd”) and Aaron Douglas (“Battlestar Galactica”), was directed by Bear McCreary (composer of “The Walking Dead”), produced by Joe Lynch (“Knights of Badassdom”) and Sam Balcomb of Rainfall Films.

Over the years YBH has played many cover songs, but none have captured our collective imaginations quite like Don’t Stop Me Now.

Originally conceived and recorded in 1979 by the world famous Queen and written by none other then the infinitely titular Freddie Mercury, Don’t Stop Me Now was and is to this day one of the most celebrated songs in the universe.

For me personally, it was the song that launched 1000 ships of Queen obsession. I had to sing it in a wedding band for a friend a few years ago,and although I was a fan of Queen before that, actually singing and channeling Freddie sort of changed my life forever. I’ve been playing it at almost every show since.

To celebrate, we made a music video! The first of many to come out this year and to kick it all off, we’re having a

VIDEO RELEASE PARTY!

Live on Saturday May 11th @ Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles we will have a screening and full set of YBH goodness.
We will also be debuting a majority of the songs off our forthcoming EP #Royalty.
