Aaron is going to be featured in Syfy’s new weekly segment called ‘Metal Crush Mondays’ with Scott Ian from the band ANTHRAX.
I’ll post the press release from SyFy at the bottom of this post.
These interviews will be shown on the SyFy channel (USA) every Monday starting August 3rd at 7:30pm during the airing of a movie. I think it’s going to kinda work like how the interviews with the BSG cast were broken up and slotted in during the BSG marathon that aired on SyFy back in April.
Aaron “crashed” the interview with Ian Scott from the band ANTHRAX. This interview will air during the movie ‘Underworld: Blood Wars’ on Monday August 17. Aaron “crashing” the interview was prearranged by the people at SyFy so that it would be a surprise for Scott. So that should be really fun to watch Scott’s reaction 🤯
And please don’t boo-hoo at me if you don’t live in the USA. I live in Australia, Aaron lives in Canada, so we both won’t be able to watch it either. But I think (???) from what they are saying in the press release that they’re going to put the interviews up on YouTube. I read that part 4 times and I still don’t quite understand. lol.

Beginning Monday, August 3, SYFY will premiere “Metal Crush Mondays,” a month-long programming stunt featuring interviews conducted by SYFY WIRE’s Whitney Moore, with some of the biggest names in heavy metal. In segments surrounding “metal” movies, artists including Corey Taylor (Slipknot/ Stone Sour), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Jonathan Davis (Korn), Maria Brinks (In This Moment), GWAR and more, share their love for sci-fi, fantasy and horror… discuss the organic crossover between genre and heavy metal… and watch and discuss the SYFY movie of the week.
Additionally, fans will be able to go online to SYFY WIRE’s YouTube page or listen to an original limited-series podcast (available on SYFY.com and major podcast platforms), for full conversations that dig deeper into each artist’s favorite sci-fi and horror content, metal inspirations and more.
