As you already know, Aaron Douglas’ new tv show DIRK GENTLY will premiere in the USA on October 22nd on BBC America. Today it was announced that all 8 episodes will air on Netflix (for those of us outside the USA) in December. Once I hear news of the actual date, I’ll let you know.

Netflix will co-produce BBC America’s new comedic thriller “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency,” along with AMC Studios, Ideate Media and IDW Entertainment, the streaming service announced Thursday. Netflix will also stream the series internationally in all Netflix territories outside the U.S.
The show will premiere on BBC America on October 22 and all eight episodes will launch on Netflix outside the U.S. in December.
Adapted from Douglas Adams’ novel of the same name, the series is written and executive produced by Max Landis, and executive produced by Robert Cooper, with David Alpert and Rick Jacobs producing for Circle of Confusion, David Ozer and Ted Adams producing for IDW Entertainment and Arvind Ethan David and Zainir Aminullah on board for Ideate Media. Samuel Barnett, Elijah Wood and Hannah Marks star.
“Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” follows the bizarre adventures of eccentric “holistic” detective Dirk Gently (Barnett) and his reluctant assistant Todd (Wood), as they wend their way through one big, seemingly insane mystery a season, crossing unlikely paths with a bevy of wild and sometimes dangerous characters, each episode landing them a few random steps closer to uncovering the truth.
IMG negotiated the deal with Netflix, AMC Studios, Ideate and IDW, and is handling remaining sales for the series.
